Οι εικόνες αυτές, σαν καθρέφτης, αντανακλούν το τι σημαίνει για μένα «φωτογραφία». Είναι το αποτέλεσμα της θέλησης να μεταμορφωθεί μια στιγμή της πραγματικής ζωής, για «να δω πως είναι τα πράγματα όταν φωτογραφηθούν», όπως έλεγε ο Winogrand. Μέσα από αυτές αποκαλύπτεται η ισορροπία και η τάξη ενός κόσμου: του δικού μου φωτογραφημένου κόσμου. Αποτελούν μια συλλογή από κομμάτια χώρου και χρόνου που φτιάχνουν μια νέα "πραγματικότητα". Το ταξίδι αυτό, σαν το ταξίδι του Οδυσσέα, είναι μια περιπέτεια και ταυτόχρονα ένα ταξίδι αυτογνωσίας. Μόνο που η Ιθάκη δεν υπάρχει, δεν υπάρχει τελικός προορισμός, αλλά μόνο η χαρά του ταξιδιού...
These images, like a mirror, reflect what photography truly means to me. They are the result of the will to transform fleeting moments of real life—an attempt, as Winogrand said, ‘to see what things look like when they’re photographed.’ Through them, the balance and order of a world —my own, imagined and photographed world. They form a collection of fragments of space and time, weaving together a new kind of ‘reality.’ This journey, like Odysseus's journey, is an adventure and, at the same time, a journey of self-discovery. The only difference is that Ithaca does not await at the end— there is no final destination. There is only the joy of the journey itself...
