Tassos Chios Photography
He was born in Athens and brought up in Poros, Trizinia. He studied Social Sciences in Panteio University of Athens and has got a degree in Sociology. He has been living in Thessaloniki since 1991.
He has been engaged in photography since 1984. He held five personal photo exhibitions and took part in group photo exhibitions. In 2010 he took part in the group exhibition in the context of Photobiennale which is organized by the Photo Museum of Thessaloniki. Moreover, he participated in photo festivals ("CONTRAST", which were organized in Thessaloniki /2010, 2011 - 12, 2014 and " PHOTOMETRIA PHOTO FESTIVAL", which were organized in Ioanina /2012, 2014, 2016).
He is member of the photography groups "Klikers" and "Φ".
A part of his work has been published in the magazine “Photographer”.
Γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα, αλλά μεγάλωσε στον Πόρο Τροιζηνίας. Σπούδασε Κοινωνικές Επιστήμες στο Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο και έχει πτυχίο Κοινωνιολογίας. Από το 1991 μένει μόνιμα στη Θεσσαλονίκη, όπου εργάζεται ως εκπαιδευτικός.
Με τη φωτογραφία ασχολείται από το 1984. Έχει κάνει πέντε ατομικές εκθέσεις και έχει συμμετάσχει σε πολλές ομαδικές. Το 2010 πήρε μέρος σε ομαδική έκθεση στα πλαίσια της Photobiennale που διοργανώνει το Μουσείο Φωτογραφίας Θεσσαλονίκης. Επίσης, έχει πάρει μέρος σε φεστιβάλ φωτογραφίας (CONTRAST / ΑΝΤΙΘΕΣΗ , Θεσσαλονίκη 2010, 2011-12, 2014, 2017, 2019 και PHOTOMETRIA PHOTO FESTIVAL , Ιωάννινα 2012, 2014, 2016).
Eίναι μέλος των φωτογραφικών ομάδων «Klikers» και "Φ". Μέρος της δουλειάς του έχει δημοσιεύσει το περιοδικό "Φωτογράφος".
